Salvador Ybarra was living on the Guadalupe River in Kerrville when the flood hit. The home where he lived was flooded, and he is currently living in temporary housing provided by the Foundation, while he works with his disaster case manager, Beth, to determine his next steps in housing. He lost most of the tools that he used to help people with his moving company. The Foundation’s Unmet needs program has helped Salvador replace those tools, so that he can get back to work (attached photo of Salvador with some of his new tools). In addition to helping people move, he also assists with hanging pictures, TV’s and other large items, as needed. He can pretty much help with any moving-type job.
