Application Questionnaire

The Fund supports recovery in Kerr County and Comfort following the July 4, 2025 floods by investing in the places and institutions that define local identity and sustain community life. Funding priorities include:

  •     River and riparian restoration
  •     Park and public-space recovery
  •     Arts and cultural revitalization
  •     Community gathering spaces
  •     Support for small business recovery and local economic vitality
  •     Public safety, education, and other essential civic assets

To be eligible, an organization must be a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit, fiscal sponsor, equivalent public charity, or eligible public entity; be primarily devoted to a charitable, civic, or cultural mission; and serve Kerr County or its directly affected surrounding communities. Projects must align with fund goals and demonstrate clear community benefit. See full guidelines here.

We invite you to complete the Application Questionnaire by logging in (or creating an account) to our RebuildKerr grants management system.

  • Please note: This questionnaire is not the full application. The Community Foundation will review submissions and notify organizations of next steps by the end of the month after the month you submit. For example, if you submit your questionnaire in January, you will be notified by the end of February.

  • Organizations invited to move forward will then be asked to complete a full application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with final funding decisions made within two months of completed application submission.
